Bill Cosby is about to face some tough questions

He has been ordered to testify in court.

Bill Cosby-Lawsuit Associated Press Associated Press

US COMEDY ICON Bill Cosby has been ordered to testify under oath in response to accusations from a woman who said he drugged and sexually abused her when she was a minor.

A Los Angeles Supreme Court judge earlier this week ordered the 78-year-old actor to submit to questioning from the lawyer of Judy Huth on October 9. Huth will have to answer questions from Cosby’s lawyers six days later.

Huth has accused the fallen star of forcing her to drink alcohol before taking her to the Playboy Mansion, where she says he sexually assaulted her.

The alleged incident happened in 1974, when she was 15.

Physiological damage

In her complaint, filed in December 2014, Huth says Cosby forced her to perform sex acts, leading to psychological damages.

Cosby — a pioneering African-American comedian who played a beloved family doctor on the hit 1980s sitcom “The Cosby Show” — has been swept up in a flood of accusations of sexual abuse spanning four decades from dozens of women.

New York Magazine pictured 35 of his accusers on its cover last week, all of whom say the comedian drugged and violated them.

Forty-six women have accused Cosby so far, and the magazine left an empty chair on its cover to represent those who have not talked publicly about their accusations.

Credit where it’s due. They got the referendum done in plenty of time. It’s all the other votes they’re working through now. Also, it saves us money to have a few counts done at once. There’s, what, local and mayoral and MEP and the referendum as well, bundled in together. If they spread them out it would cost more, and it’s a convenience to us to vote them all on one day. It doesn’t seem as bad as the last general election to me. That had whole newspapers of candidates going for election.

Here’s hoping #BREXIT will be called off, just to keep @FineGael ‘s @DeirdreCluneMEP out of the parliament. It’s a pity @FitzgeraldFrncs got elected. Wonder what internal deal was done with @FineGael as I suspect Frances would not get reelected to the Dáil if she ran at next election. Dianna Fail have a lot to answer for letting this government go unchecked.

people still don’t define ‘broadband’, just like with counting there are different systems and we need to choose the better one…seeing as 76 species of birds chose to leave Mt Nardi by the time the 4G LTE tower was switched on – what do you think will happen with mandatory broadband blanket covering the earth? And yet no one discussing the real issues with ‘broadband’ in this country, or that most of the MEPs just want to stick their hand in the EU honey pot to roll it out or that 20k satellites are going up for space based highly questionable broadband, and just why exactly fibre is better all round.

Let see it elected members make enough attendances to vote on the issues going through the parliament.
So far Luke Ming has maintained in around 90% attendance rate compared to other Irish members voting on as little as 20-30% on the issues and still getting paid the same.
