A WINNING SYNDICATE are looking forward to making lives easier after scooping more than €2.5 million on the National Lottery.
The win will be divided up between two individuals who have decided to keep their identities anonymous.
Speaking about the win, they said, “We’re over the moon. Can’t believe our luck! We have lots of friends and family and we’re looking forward to making their lives a whole lot easier.
Once that’s done, we might even spend a bit on ourselves!
The couple have said that they intend to travel to France, Germany and around Europe later this year.
The ticket was bought in a branch of An Post in Rosslare in Co Wexford, where they had been spending a summer weekend. With the winnings they have said that they are considering purchasing a mobile home in the area.
The winning ticket was a €4.00 Quick Pick.
“I’ve always been a great believer in the Sacred Heart and my faith has come through for me today”, one of the winners said, “We’re going to make plenty of private donations to charities from this win”.
The National Lottery estimates that around a third of its sales go to good causes.
