A NUMBER OF high-profile people have been invited to take part in an inquiry into the phone-hacking scandal.
They include Harry Potter author JK Rowling, jockey Kieran Fallon, Paul and Sheryl Gascoigne and Kate and Gerry McCann.
In total, there are 46 victims of phone hacking or press intrusion being invited to take part.
The Daily Mail reports that they will be given what is called ‘core representative’ status.
What this means is that they can have a lawyer – one between them if the judge has his way – to speak for them during the hearings.
It is hoped that the inquiry will take 12 months, the Financial Times says.
There will be two parts to it, one that focuses on the press’s behaviour towards the public, police and politicians, and a second that looks at the Metropolitan Police’s inquiry and how to prevent such hacking occurring again.
Two people who will not be giving evidence at the tribunal are News International’s Rupert Murdoch, and former NOTW editor Rebekah Brooks.

Has the back of your z3 ever cracked? My bf has one, one night it was charging, woke ip the next morning to a crack on the glass at the back. It was only 2 months old at this stage.

We’ve had the hiding caller ID one. Including the line “be aware, some people may not answer withheld numbers”
Surely if you drop it down the toilet you’ll find out very quickly if it is watertight or not. At least that’s what happened to me.
