A GROUP OF people set up camp outside BT2 on Dublin’s Grafton Street yesterday evening in a bid to get their hands on a pair of Kanye West runners.
The doors opened at 9am this morning.
The rapper designed the Yeezy Boost 350 for Adidas and BT2 only had a limited number of pairs in stock.
Adidas states that the limited edition shoe is “exquisitely designed” and “transcends current sneaker trends”.
The shoes retail for €200.

Probably because Asians don’t really drink (as in 10 pints in a pub drink). Back in my hay-day I would have blown €300 a weekend in pubs and clubs (Fri-Sun). I suppose we all have to spend our money on something stupid. At least they have a pair of shoes to show for it.

Stop slagging us off for loving Kanye and for having the hippest trainers, you just don’t get it. What have you got in your lives that you would queue all night for? These trainers are beautiful man. I’m not even gonna wear them you bastads. I’m adding them to my pile of celebrity-enhanced goods, for instance my Arnold Shwarzenegger fruit juicer and smoothie maker (2.5 days queueing / 750 euro but u cant put a price on happiness) and my Banksy hat that I only wear indoors (cost an indiscriminate sum that the cashier chose at random and I don’t look at my Visa bills anyway / 6 days queuing at Trafalgar Square).
