A FLORIDA MAN was arrested for drug charges after accidentally texting the police captain of the local drug unit looking for drugs.
William Lamberson (29) thought he was texting a drug dealer but somehow sent his message to the police officer.
The dialogue continued and the two set up a later meeting.
Lamberson thought he was going to sell cocaine when he was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.
Martin County Sheriff’s Office recently posted photos of the texts online.

He’s obviously an informant if he had the police officers number in his phone so now he’s locked up and people know he’s a snitch. Moron.

I’d say he got a digit wrong in the phone number. How could they text each other that much without out one of them not knowing who the other was! Surely if he was an informant one of them would have had the the others number…
Some dude gave him a false number instead of his own, the police’s number for badness as a hook up.

Me neither, some years ago my daughter sent me a text message, funny how they only have credit for texting, I couldn’t understand a word of the ‘text speak’ and had to forward it to her brother for a translation. Talk about making you feel old???

Technology always gets people into unplanned trouble. How did he have officer’s number? The officer also needs to be looked at twice.
Well he will have plenty of time to think of where he went wrong on this mission while behind bars . Priceless

Sounds like entrapment, the guy was looking to buy green and the cop persuaded him to sell coke.. The texts don’t add up either some have dates and times others don’t. I bet the guy that he did meet at the 7-11 was either a rat or under cover cop.
Yeah the poor guy. Firstly, a guy he trusted gave him a wrong number, the number of a copper. Secondly the copper tricked him into supplying cocaine when all he wanted to do was smoke some cannabis with his new friend. Knowing the United States he’ll be sent away to prison for many many years for this.
