Dublin firefighters deliver baby girl on M50

Both mother and baby are doing well.

A LITTLE GIRL determined to take the fast lane into the world this morning was delivered by paramedics from Dublin Fire Brigade on the M50.

Emergency services were called at around 3.30am to Junction 4-5 on the Dublin motorway where a woman was in labour.

Both the fire engine and ambulance from the Killbarrack station attended and helped deliver the baby.

The mother who is in her 30s and the baby girl are both said to be doing well.
