A large part of making life easier is preparing for what’s ahead. Make and pack your lunch the night before work when you have a little free time before bed rather than rushing around like a headless chicken in the morning before work.
Forgetful person? Always leaving the house without your keys? To save yourself some hassle, pop your keys (or wallet, or whatever you’re having yourself) in your shoes when you come in the door. An easy reminder.
Buy yourself an alarm clock and leave your phone in a dresser by your bed. Staring at a bright screen before sleep means you won’t feel as tired as your body might actually be. Try it for a few nights and you’ll see a big difference.

Use a 3v prepaid visa for flights where you need credit card, David. It’s a euro to top it up and a euro for the transaction, so only really worth using on purchases over €50.
Any ideas on how to rent a car without a credit card. it’s the only obstacle I’ve encountered …..

@Mike it was Eurocar we rented from. It was only for a few over Christmas as the power steering in mine decided to go Christmas Eve morning

It’s got to do with advising for an easier life! After 35 years of extremely hard work ,and taking advice from bank advisors that the only way forward was to invest ,and then having my ability to pay back taken by the government !I would not b advising anyone to b fooled as I was .I worked Chrismas eve ,Christmas day ,my children’s birthdays ,took no holidays abroad (or at home)thought this is my best effort for my children’s future ,only to have everything taken by banks allowed by government .
I feel for you, really I do. That’s a rough situation to be in. I understand how much that can make a person bitter but the welfare state is there for those in need, not those who choose to live as scroungers. Unfortunately too many people are work shy and as bitter as you are losing your money, I’m equally bitter working my butt off supporting those who don’t deserve it!
Do not listen to bank advisers telling u to invest in Ur future and Ur children’s future ,it’s a trick!the government will take away Ur ability to pay back Ur borrowings and the bank will take Ur investment ,and U will have wasted Ur time working every hour God sends .Instead chill ,have the kids ,enjoy them ,get a council house ,draw the dole !U will b better off !

Join the credit union
Make yourself aware of the security risks of contactless credit and debit cards before you start carrying one around in your wallet or purse. Google “Which?” magazine’s research on the subject which shows that your card information can be easily read by fraudsters using cheap and easily obtainable equipment. If you do have any of these cards make sure to keep them in a metal holder or foil lined wallet to greatly reduce the risk of them being read fraudulently.
