The findings of a Claire Byrne Live/Amárach Research poll also found that just 25% of people would like to see Enda Kenny returned as Taoiseach after the election.
60% of voters say that they actively do not want Kenny to take up a second term, while 62% of people are against a coalition of Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil.
Kenny’s strongest support comes in Connacht and Ulster (35%), while he has least support in Dublin (20%).
Support for a coalition is strongest in Leinster outside of Dublin (22%) and least popular in the capital (14%).
Young people are most supportive of the coalition (26%), but least supportive of the Taoiseach (22%). Just 9% of people aged 35-44 support the idea of a coalition.
Kenny is currently the 2/9 favourite to be Taoiseach after the next election. Bookmaker Paddy Power has set Fine Gael’s line for returned seats at 57.5 and Fianna Fáil’s at 32.5.

Wow. I thought it was really anti-Enda Kenny. They showed him making a complete balls of interviews and had a whole section showing cringing moments. They showed him talking about the army being ready at bank machines and was criticised for that. I thought he came across really badly. They even said he has done nothing for Mayo.
It’s amazing two people can watch the exact same thing and come to the complete opposite conclusion.

Anyone that is still alive and looking for a vote, when they had (or have ) the opportunity to condemn criminality but didn’t is off the list for me.
So – most members of SF as they were around and defending the IRA criminals, or at least not condemning them .. Hell even picking them up from jail ffs.
This isn’t based on some political leaning on my part but the way – rbb, Higgins, copp, wall, Byrne all have policies I detest and think would ruin the country, but I have never heard any of them fail to condemn murder, or punishment beatings or declare that they would support people engaged in those acts so as much as I disagree with them, they are honourable in my eyes.
A few years back ? Any blue shirt if there are any still alive would be over 100 now

The problem is there are not infinite resources to fix everything and give everyone what they want. Not sure I see the point of this poll. 25% of people want Kenny as taoiseach, and 25% is roughly FG’s poll rating across the last 5 years. What’d be surprising would be to see Kenny for taoiseach a lot higher than FG polling nationally.
The FG-FF poll is interesting, but is hard to judge given there are no numbers for other coalition combinations.
