TAYLOR SWIFT HAS found herself embroiled in feuds with everyone from Nicki Minaj to Katy Perry this year.

The singer has been accused of endangering rare birds on a recent video shoot in Bethells Beach, New Zealand.
Conservationists have called out the singer and her crew for allegedly putting the New Zealand dotterel, an endangered bird, at risk while filming the video on a beach.
In a Facebook status, Sandra Coney, chairwoman of the Waitakere Ranges Local Board, stated that Swift’s crew had been given permission to have two vehicles on the beach, but instead rolled up with “about a dozen”.
We are trying to minimise vehicles on beaches for good reasons but at Bethells there are baby dotterels. We have developed a dotterel management plan as there is a heap of filming out there, and we welcome it as economic activity that should leave no footprint, but Taylor’s lot did not respect the environment or the conditions of their consent.
There are reportedly jut 1,700 dotterels left in New Zealand and the Department of Conservation reports that “careless feet, dogs and off-road vehicles” pose threats to their survival.
As you can imagine, there’s been a very measured reaction to the whole thing.

For its part, Screen Auckland has told The New Zealand Herald that Swift and her crew didn’t go near the dotterels despite acknowledging that they did exceed the vehicle limit on the beach.
