CELEBRITIES, BUSINESS MEN and women, and politicians have been converging on Dublin Castle today, taking part in the second annual Global Irish Economic Forum.
The event has been set up to seek ideas from Ireland’s global diaspora about how to stimulate economic growth in Ireland and has already heard today from An Taoiseach and An Tánaiste.
Over 250 people based in 40 different countries are attending the forum which will be addressed by former US president Bill Clinton tomorrow.

I’d often wondered what it would be like to be told I or someone close to me has an incurable disease or tumor or whatever and how I’d react. Even thinking about it nearly brings me to tears. You, young woman are truly incredible and your attitude is amazing. Knowing that your future is going to be so unpredictable and unsettled and the way you still have a positive outlook on your life is absolutely brilliant. Wishing you and your family all the very best for the future. I’m off to give my daughter’s a hug.
