30% of Republican voters support bombing Agrabah (the country from Aladdin)

19% of Democrats would like to see the fictional kingdom bombed too.

ALMOST A THIRD of Republican voters in the US said they would support bombing Agrabah – the fictional kingdom from the 1992 Disney movie Aladdin.

More than 530 GOP primary voters were polled in the last few days about their support for party candidates and their views on a range of foreign policy issues.

As part of the survey, voters were asked if they would support bombing the fictional country.

While most (57%) said they didn’t know, 30% responded that they would like to see the kingdom bombed. 13% said they opposed it.

The same question was asked of Democrat primary voters – with 36% opposing Agrabah’s bombing and 19% supporting it.

Elsewhere in the poll of GOP voters, 26% said they thought Islam should be illegal in the US, while 46% said they supported a national database of Muslims.

Rhetoric from Republican White House hopefuls has become increasingly extreme in recent weeks – with the candidates competing to outdo each other on their approaches to the Middle East in this week’s CNN debate.

It follows weeks of controversy prompted by frontrunner Donald Trump’s comments about the need for a national database of Muslims, and his campaign statement that Muslims should temporarily be barred from entering the US.

For the record – according to the Disney Wiki, Agrabah is located near the Jordan River, and is ruled by the Sultan (below).

Imagine if penalty points was introduced in Mexico, would be more shootings a day than car deaths.

I’m in Mexico City as we speak. Drivers here, particularly taxi drivers, are mental. You have to be in order to survive. They actually make Irish drivers look half decent by comparison!

We can all blame Eugene Lambert for introducing the driving test into the country…

“That was around the time Eugene bought Finnegan a driving licence, thereby precipitating the introduction of the driving test in this country”
