A NEW 172,000 SQUARE foot office building is set to change the streetscape of Burlington Road, Dublin 4.
New images of Vertium have been released today as construction continues on the six-storey building.
Joint letting agents Savills and Knight Frank said the basement has been fully excavated and the main structure is now rising.
They said Vertium will be the first major central business district office development to come on stream since the economic downturn.
The panoramic €170 million building will span almost 100 metres on Burlington Road and could accommodate up to 2,000 workers when completed.

The project is the result of a collaboration between three European property companies – Union Investment, U+I and Ronan Group.
Roland O’Connell, chair of Savills and Declan O’Reilly, director of Knight Frank, released a joint statement about the building:
It has been well documented that there is simply not enough office space to meet the demand of occupiers in Dublin’s central business district. Major new office schemes such as the Vertium building are crucial in ensuring Dublin remains a competitive city when it comes to attracting foreign direct investment.
Savills and Knight Frank are quoting a rent of in excess of €55 per square foot. Vertium is due to be completed in quarter two of 2017.

We don’t even have to buy the tankers.They come here regularly with crude oil to the refinery.Fill them up with the Ballygowan on their return journey to the Middle East.
@Padraig: Oil distribution developed – water will too – if necessity dictates ! A centralised approach to water is vital – the lack of any business case for the meters is the main issue. HNY all.
