Where is the corruption and who is benefitting from it? What changes do you want to happen? Where do you see that the EU doesn’t give a fig about you? Where has this “corrupt” EU made your life worse? Bit of Brexit banter you’ve got going on there.

In truth – the eu had to ignore the farmers since not allowing food imports from south America but insisting on finished good outputs from the eu to be allowed export is one sided ( not to say that eu aren’t one sided – see brexit)

So much for EU climate action giving the thumps up to Brazil as its leader promises to not leave 1 centimetre of forest standing gutting 239 miles of Amazon rain forest in less than 30 days. The Amazon rain forest is crucial to climate action more than all the green energy in the world. Brazil beef is also riddled with pesticides as their new leader massively increases some of the most toxic pesticides that are banned in the EU.

The EU is self sufficient in beef and high quality at that, so now they decide to get beef from the other side of the Atlantic ocean shipped over, its not very green, well they can F off with the carbon taxes, we are being told to change our transport which is getting cleaner and more efficient as time goes on, stop using kerosene, gas, turf, wood in efficient boilers and stoves. While at the same time bring beef and other stuff from the other side of the world that chops down trees to make a pasture for the cattle because the soil is so poor, plus ignoring Russia, India, south America, Africa, china plus other Asian countries. And to top it off the media banging on every single day about it with not a bit of criticism to the government about the above mentioned.

If its a bad deal overall for Ireland and some other EU members then we should have a quiet confabulation with those EU states and decide not to pass it.
If wallonia in Belgium can put a hold on the previous Canada agreement to iron out some issues they had with it then we and some actual full member states can certainly request a temporary block here to request a rethink in certain areas.
