I’m so happy I got to be in 3 episodes of love hate series 5 , I might have only been the bouncer on the door of the brothel in some scenes but it was the best thing I’ve done in years and to be involved and meet all the cast was payment enough but the cash was a bonus, I am a huge fan of this cult epic show tat will be forever the best RTE has ever done and Caffo the director is a genius , Nidge the Almighty will Rise again

Nidge is not dead. It’s the only shooting all season there was no real close up.
He was clearly shot on the left side of the chest, i.e. the heart. He’s dead.
Yes because the heart takes up the entire left hand side of your chest..it was ended on a deliberately ambiguous note. Now they can go whatever way they want with series 6.
They made a big deal a few episodes previously about being sure to shoot someone in the head to make sure he was dead. Nidge survives. I guarantee it.
