CRANE WORKERS GET quite the view when they’re high up in the air – and now you can see just what they see from this video.
Sent on to us by Malcom Swan, it shows a camera attached to a crane in the Mt Argus area of Dublin.
As the crane spins around, you get some pretty gorgeous views.

When the driver needs to go to loo do they have to climb the whole way back down or do they have a sort of unsuite up there?
Only 1 trip up looon board and kettle supplied for hot lunch and microwave also

He has a dump in a bucket with a slice of lemon to kill the odour and lowers it down on a rope to the labourer.

Pee into a bottle and empty it out the window. They come down for a dump (mostly).
Sometimes you would see a plastic bottle being thrown out the window and exploding on the ground . Not sure if they do that any more though !

Cool video, drove a Tower Crane myself for years in Dublin, during the boom, when the sun is shinning the views are fantastic..the things I saw

If you ever see a bag or a bottle coming out of a tower crane window the best thing to do is make sure you ain’t about when it lands. Seen a driver sacked for flinging a bag of you know what out the window only to land beside some owners of the site.
