A MAN IN his early 30s has died after a collision between his motorcycle and a car in county Meath today.
The incident took place on the R154 Trim Road at Warrenstown shortly before 4.30pm.
The man was pronounced dead at scene. His body has been taken to Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan where a post mortem is to be arranged.
The occupants of the car were uninjured.
The R154 is currently closed at Warrenstown to facilitate garda forensic collision investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, and anyone with information is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01 8010600, the Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

…for FFS – you have no idea of ANY speed is involved but immediately throw it in cos a bike is involved? ?? Were you there? ? You do realise that 2/3rd of all bike accidents are caused by cars ?? RIP to a fellow biker.

That’s the road behind the warrenstown road. The stretch the accident happened on is a great long open stretch, very easy to overtake on and judge. Looks like simply an accident. RIP, a lot of bikers on that road today ! As well as cyclists and other road users be safe out there people !!
I know where ur on about alright, but I think it was further up the road on the Dublin side which has a few twists and turns. Terrible tragedy either way, such a nice lad.
