A MAN WAS attacked with a hammer as he was leaving a graveyard in West Belfast earlier this week.

The incident happened at about 2.30pm on Thursday when the 24-year-old man was leaving the city cemetery and was confronted by a number of masked men.

PSNI officers say that as the man was leaving the cemetery a white coloured Hyundai car pulled up and blocked him.

We seem to have drifted a long way from the heyday of Irish literature of the likes of McGahern Lavin and MacLaverty. This stuff is just mindless gunge and our licence fees are probably bankrolling it.
