LAST NIGHT, APPLE quietly released a small update to iOS. Version 9.3.2 fixed a few small issues including bluetooth accessories experiencing audio quality issues with the iPhone SE as well as a couple of security issues.
Shortly after it launched, it turned out that the new update would end up bricking iPad Pro devices. Those affected would be greeted with an error 56 message and instructed to plug their device into iTunes, but this doesn’t seem to be resolving the issue.
All other Apple devices including iPhones and other iPad devices don’t appear to be affected by the bug.
According to Apple’s error list, error 56 is said to be a hardware issue but it’s unclear what exactly is causing problems for iPad Pro owners.
Since it has been released in September, iOS 9 has suffered from some problems.
Earlier this year, Apple had to fix error 53, an issue which caused iPhones to be rendered useless if the home button was replaced by a third-party. iOS 9.2.1 was released in February as a way of restoring phones disabled by the error, which was down to Apple’s Touch ID system.
iOS 9.3 was the last major release before the new version is released in September. Apple will show off some of its new features at WWDC, its developer conference, next month.

Had to return my iPhone SE because of that Bluetooth issue now the fix is bricking other devices. Seriously Apple get your shit together.
Every apple update causes problems these days. Android all the way
Every android update causes problems, there just isn’t enough interest to warrant reporting on them.

Not true, running Android on several devices over many years, enjoy error once had an issue, I always update as soon as the latest version is available.
Not so. The last android update slowed my s5 down hugely. Camera now takes abut 5 seconds to open. Restart takes 15+. Notifications for most chat apps are lost or have to be fetched manually. It’s not just my phone. While I love android it has far more bugs than apple has ever had
I think u will find that’s the idea.. To have software upgrades that don’t work well on older devices thus causing you to buy a new phone.. More business for the market..

Thats the problem Neal. They’ve gone from providing the best for whoever cared enough to buy it to trying to serve too many at once. Quality has inevitably declined.

Oh, it is only affecting the smaller iPad Pro 9.7″.

I just purchased brand new iPad 64g, and have had nothing but problems, spent about 40 hours going through their useless customer support and still not fixed, same problem with the iPhone 6s, I’m going out to get an android, sick to my teeth of this company they are absolutely awful, apparently they only hire stupid people and than call them “genius,

I have an IPad and iPad mini, neither seem to be charging today out of the blue. Does anyone know if this affects it or what I can do to fix them?
