A 999 CALL saying a bomb was at an Ulster Bank in Limerick led to the building being evacuated today.
The bank, which is located on O’Connell St, was mentioned in a call on the emergency number to gardaí at around 3.15pm today.
The building was evacuated and a thorough search was carried out by gardaí.
Nothing was found during the search.
The bank was reopened half an hour after the search took place.
Gardaí are still making enquiries with regards to the call.

Sad to think that some people have nothing better to do than calling in bomb hoaxes.
Maybe one of the 900 mortgage holders whose mortgage got sold off to a vulture fund? Still wrong of them of course!
