MILAN’S METRO SYSTEM was suspended this morning following the discovery of ‘suspicious packages’ on one of the lines in advance of tonight’s Champions League final.

Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport reports that two lines of the city’s subway system were brought to a halt after a woman was captured on CCTV leaving a number of packages at the Cadorna metro stop.

Many fans of finalists Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will travel through Cadorna on their way to tonight’s final at the San Siro stadium.

The M1 and M2 subway lines were subsequently halted between 9.57am and 10.50am Irish time while the Cadorna station was evacuated following a police order.

Eventually it was found that the suspicious packages merely contained children’s gifts according to police.

The metro has since restarted with service returning to normal.

Tonight’s final will kick off at 7.45pm Irish time.

Airbnb are a different company since COVID.
If you post a negative review about your host, Airbnb will contact you and threaten to inform your host in advance that you are writing a negative review, thus giving your host the opportunity to write a negative review about you. You will then be asked to change your review.
Similarly if a host writes a negative review of a client, Airbnb will contact them and demand the host change the review. They will threaten to drop the hosts superhost status etc.
Basically there are no negative stories on Airbnb. A race to the bottom.

@Paul Gorry: But government legislation coming soon will remove thousands of short term let’s from the market so Tourism sector will be wrecked next year. Already record low number of people planning to visit Ireland.
