Rugby in Leinster runs the length of the private school Stillorgan dual-carriageway,Munster rugby fans are the most intolerable sports fans in the country. A small minority who get disproportionate media coverage because they’re from a monied class,developers and bankers sons with friends in The Irish Times,Indo and Montrose.

Why not be happy that we won tonight, may win on Sunday and in between may also win a tour series in SA? It is actually possible to enjoy a moment without feeling the need to denigrate another representative team. Comparisons between the two sports are redundant in so many ways, but one thing is for sure- if you beat a team that is on paper better than you (as both have done in the last few weeks) then you should able to accept it as a nice thing to have happened. Lads gone to France who have never Neen to a LOI game. If we helped support and develop our own league God knows what we can do 20 years down the line. 8 of tonight’s squad came from LOI. Aside from that, great result tonight and delighted. Throughly deserved and nothing to fear against the French. We have possibly the greatest fans in the world, hopefully that doesn’t stop after the euros!

I would have hated our tournament and Wes’ international career to have ended like that. Also hats off to Hendrick who had a stormer.

Great performance, well done lads. Played well all round and really should be more like the team that went out from the beginning. They are capable of playing ball against anyone if they are allowed to express themselves. Fair play to the management, took big ones to swap it up so much. Wouldn’t be so hard on Wes H for the miss, he was only on and you could argue he should have started but Jesus what a beautiful cross for the goal!! Credit Brady too for getting in there, showed real passion. A little worrying to see the extent of the celebrations for qualifying and hope that’s not the limit of their ambition. If they go out with the right attitude and set up they can easily put it up to the hosts. Good luck lads!
