Highs of 23 degrees today but showers back tomorrow

Tomorrow will be a generally bright day with sunny spells but scattered showers are also set to make an appearance.

THERE WILL BE highs of 23 degrees today but we’re not escaping the clouds.

Met Éireann is forecasting warm sunny spells but warning that it will be “rather cloudy in southern and southwestern parts”.

Thicker cloud is also expected later this afternoon and evening, with rain forecast for western and southwestern coastal counties.

Tomorrow will be a generally bright day with sunny spells but scattered showers are also set to make an appearance.

Showers will gradually die out during the afternoon except in Ulster and north Connacht where the showers will continue throughout the day. Highest temperatures will reach 19 degrees.

    I don’t think the Journal have a clue what they’re talking about when it comes to the weather. They’ve gotten it wrong in nearly every article I’ve read in the past few weeks.

    They don’t. They just want you to think it’s hot hot hot, so when Mr Noonan comes with a jar of vaseline and carbon tax in October, you’ll remember that the world is getting hot hot hot and duly oblige.
