The Daily PollFORMER MAYOR OF New York Rudy Giuliani, now a top adviser to Donald Trump, has said “everybody” cheats on their spouse.
NBC’s Meet the Press asked Giuliani whether it was fair for him to criticise Hillary Clinton’s handling of her husband’s alleged affairs when he himself had dealt with his “own infidelity charge”.
In response, Giuliani, who has been married three times, said: “Well, everybody [cheats]. And I’m Roman Catholic, and I confess those things to my priest.”

Does fantasising about your girlfriends mother count as cheating? If it is, then I haven’t cheated. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a MILF but I don’t look at her that way.
I have to admit I have cheated on my partner and it still haunts me to this day. We were playing Texas hold em one night and my girlfriend kept winning I went to the bathroom and on the way I grabbed two aces from another deck. I’m not proud of it but we are working through it.

That’s unbelievable. I guess many hit “no” in order to read the result but weren’t prepared to take a chance on being truthful on an online site.
Most people I know have cheated at one time or another and those that haven’t are due to lack of opportunity.
So what your saying is ugly people don’t cheat.

@David: The reasons why so few people voted ‘yes I cheated’ could be a number of things.
1) Journal commentators are young and most haven’t been adults long enough to make the mistake of cheating.
2) This younger generation is less sociable, in terms of offline interaction obviously, so less opportunity to cheat throughout their lives when compared to the older crowds.
3) A number of people who would have voted ‘yes I cheated’ didn’t want to, because they felt guilty and didn’t want to admit it, even anonymously. Skewing the results. These people may have avoided the article altogether.
4) A number of people who have cheated have a different definition of cheating to the norm. They might say something like “it’s not cheating as long as long as it didn’t go in!”. So they vote “no I’ve never cheated”.
5) I like numbered lists.
@George Brown: Have you considered the possibility that people who say they haven’t cheated might be telling the truth and those who don’t believe it, think everyone else is just like them…….making it easier to justify their own indiscretions?

6) There may be people who vote “no, I haven’t cheated” because they haven’t cheated.
Also, yes people may be questioning the stats because they are projecting their own dishonesty onto others. Maybe I am too. Maybe you’re questioning the people who question the stats for the same reason.

Tony I don’t believe morals have anything to do with infidelity. We are by nature animals and have a desire to spread our genes as successfully as possible despite what the Victorians may think about it.
