Aer Lingus is hiring new cabin crew in recruitment drive

Here’s what you need to apply.

AER LINGUS HAS launched a recruitment drive to fill new cabin crew positions for its Dublin base for next summer.

No previous cabin crew experience is required, to be eligible applicants must:

  • be 18 years of age or over
  • live and work in the Republic of Ireland
  • be fluent in English – both spoken and written
  • hold a valid EEA Passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel
  • have at least 12 months combined experience in a customer service/sales role

The cabin crew members will fly to over 100 destinations throughout UK, Europe and North America.

The airline stated that while there are a wide variety of responsibilities and duties involved “ultimately the job involves keeping every guest safe, while making their experience on board the best it can be”.

Crucial attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills and well-developed team-work skills.

Successful candidates will complete cabin crew training at Aer Lingus’ in-house Training Academy, located in Dublin Airport.

Applicants can apply online at careers.aerlingus.com, the closing date for applications is 21 October 2016.

@Eddie O’Neill: and it seems it was the rookiest of rooky mistakes too. An average 12 year old knows how to hide email addresses.

And of course it’s a system’s error. So no one held accountable yet again. I would love to know who has the final say in outsourcing these contracts.

Do we not have enough people working in these Departments eg Health, Children etc to handle things in-house? Why do we ALWAYS have to out-source everything? Is it so that no individual can be held to account for these cock ups? This Govt has to be the most inept ever.

Another article a few days ago people were complaining that the departments subject access request SARS looking for ID of those requesting information was to intrusive and cumbersome for those applying who will be elderly, and now there are complaints that there was a data breach email addresses were seen at an invitation to a meeting that members of the public could attend?
Complaints it’s too strict and then not strict enough?
