NATIONAL SLOW DOWN Day started this morning and will continue until 7am tomorrow morning.
Gardaí have checked a total of 85,434 vehicles since 7am, some 191 of these were caught over the speed limit.
An Garda Síochána have listed some of the most notable detections:
100km/h zone
80km/h zone
60km/h zone
50km/h zone
An Garda Síochána thanked the 85,243 vehicles who were using Irish roads today and were complying with speed limits.
“We would encourage all drivers to comply with and respect speed limits and drive safely.”

I waited 6 years, filled out countless forms, and paid 3,000 Euro to get Irish citizenship for my family of 4. Doing this the LEGAL way means we do not have to stay under the radar and we can live freely in Ireland without fear of being deported. What a concept…..

For the love of god stop calling them undocumented! They ARE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. They are breaking the law while most are patient and fully accepting of the law and its costs. The government articles like this are making it worse, not better for those doing their best to actually move or live there with the appropriate documentation.

Referring to them as “law-abiding” is a bit much.
Why do these people think they’re better than undocumented Mexicans or any other nation???
Any visitor to the USA is checked at entry points and asked how long they intend to stay. If they intend to become a resident they must apply for Form I-551, a green card, which they must keep on their person at all times. If they have the card and it is unexpired they are in the USA legally.
USA citizens and all non-citizens (aliens) must pass through immigration control when entering the USA. To enter without doing so is an illegal act.
Non-citizens (aliens) who gain entry by visa with an agreed upon departure date, and stay beyond the defined date without obtaining a green card have broken the law, committing an illegal act.
I have visited over a dozen counties on perhaps a hundred visits and always followed the entry laws of those countries.

The sooner the phrase “undocumented” is done away with, the better. They are illegal and nothing else, you rarely hear the phrase “undocumented Mexicans” so why should it be any different here?
Illegals have anchor children to use emotional blackmail to make it easier to stay. There’s been enough amnesties to formalise their statuses, but they’re too cheap and greedy to do so.

Undocumented that’s a laugh, they’re illegal and they knew it when going. A friend of mine went in the 80′s ,when asked how long he’ll stay his reply till I’m caught. He’s still there. Safe enough unless your stupid enough to put your face on national tv report, now they deserve what happened them
