Why did you describe what she was wearing after she’s been found safe and well? In case she goes missing again??

Hang on! Where the hell was she? What’s the explanation. I mean great that’s she is back safe and well but that’s not enough of an explanation

Why do you need an explanation? Her family have the right to ask for public help in finding her – they don’t have to sacrifice their privacy as a result.

Stephen, you must be her mummy? How dare they not tell you exactly where she was. You must be very cross!

Some people here and in other similar posts seem to think that because public help is requested in finding a missing child they should get some sort of ‘story’ in return to satisfy their curiosity. For some reason they think the family owe them and that their privacy should be sacrificed.

Be grateful that she was found safe and well and allow the family their privacy.

How can you make such.an ignorant judgemental comment like that? Kids go missing for all sort of reasons, unless you know the child our the family you have no right to judge. The media can increase awareness of a missing child and thankfully because of increased awareness most of these.kids are found safe. It is an essential service to protect vulnerable kids.
