Where's Hillary? Clinton criticised for not giving her concession speech yet

Clinton called Donald Trump this morning to concede the race – but she will not speak publicly until later today.

IT IS NOW official, America will not yet get its first female president.

Earlier this morning, Hillary Clinton made a phone call to Republican candidate Donald Trump to concede the race. It came after Trump claimed enough states to pass the crucial 270 electoral college votes mark.

Hours beforehand, Clinton had already appeared to concede, using her Twitter account to thank everyone who had supported her throughout the campaign “whatever happens”.

At around 2am local time, Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta addressed supporters at the Javits Center, which was due to host her victory party.

“We’re not going to have anything more to say tonight,” he said. “Everyone should go home”.

It was expected that the Democratic candidate would make a concession speech – at the very least to thank her supporters – but she has remained silent since her phone conversation with Donald Trump.

Reporters have been told Clinton will not speak now until later today.

In his victory speech, Trump congratulated her on a “hard-fought campaign”. He said that the country owes Clinton a debt of gratitude for her service.

“Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time – we owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country, I mean that sincerely.”

Hillary has to apologise to her associates in Goldman Sachs and the House of Saud first. After all this election was meant to be for them.
The embarrassment and humiliation of losing (and she lost bigly), when she all the advantages, the media, big business,A list celeb endorsements, a compliant Democratic party hierarchy that helped her rig the primaries and a ruthless and a vicious political machine behind her, must be killing her.

The one thing the democratic party ignored despite all the signs was that people just do not like her.

Her problem was that she was such an Establishment candidate at such an anti-establishment moment in history. Democrats should have had the courage of their convictions and gone for Bernie Sanders, then it could have been a straightforward battle of ideologies

I would think it was all those “advantages” that cost her the election. Trumps anti establishment message spoke to everyone, I mean take Trump and Clinton out for a minute, who seriously isn’t sick to death of that sh!t? I feel for a lot of Americans now over the next few years but something was going to snap eventually.

@Gordian Knot: indeed. The clintons have taken HUGE sums of money from shady corporations and banks, corrupt dictators and evil despots in return for access to US policy making. Those parties will now have to write off those donations and have no use for the Clinton foundation anymore. So the clintons wealthy lifestyle is over as they know it, and they might even be pursued to recoup some of the cash.

Then there’s the small matter of ongoing investigations into the foundation which are apparently close to yielding indictments and the fact that the congressional oversight committee isn’t letting go of the email scandal anytime soon.

She must be hoping for the ground to open up and swallow her at this stage.

It seems to me, that at the very least she could have thanked her supporters and staff, and not waited until the next day. It looks to me like a severe case of being unused to not getting your own way, or else to be charitable, the reports of her being in very poor health were correct all along. In the end it’s very poor form to not even make an appearance, she was clearly planning to appear at a victory rally, but that didn’t work out. Someone with class would have chosen not to send Podesta to pass the message on.

She was spotted running from the White House with a few painting, she can gaze into them while sucking down sour grapes. She could care less about the volunteers that ran her campaign or the party that supported her, both were just stepping stones to power. Pride before the fall, for the lizard queen. Women in America may feel disappointed today but tomorrow they will realise what a disaster Hillary would have being as president. For a population of 350 million I am condifient that come the next presidential election a really strong female leader will have emerged who will beat chump at his own game. Taking things for granted in politics was a mistake. Power to the people not to Wall Street, bankers and multinationals who’s profits comes straight out of the pockets of workers. God bless America and potect her people against curroption and greed that has infected it.
