GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a woman after another woman was mugged and stabbed multiple times in Drumcondra on Tuesday evening.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was arrested in Dublin shortly before 10pm last night.
The victim received a number of stab wounds when she was attacked and robbed on Lower Drumcondra Road. An on-duty garda found her slumped against a wall after 6pm.
She was then taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment of her injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
The woman who was arrested in connection with the investigation is currently being held at Mountjoy Garda Station.

I am sure the pleasant individual would enjoy being stabbed in the neck with a syringe full of lethal drugs. It really should be an option for victims of crime to repay the crime in kind.

as others have said the victim will carry the physical & emotional scars of this attack for teh rest ofher life but she’s still got to face the ordeal of the legal system when her attacker &near killer walks free from court
If this thug gets thrown in jail she will be treated better than most innocent homeless people.
one thing I have noticed recently is that younger girls are becoming more and more aggressive – you have this attack plus you have 3 girls who are believed to have carried out the attack on the young maynooth student before Christmas and these are just the ones of the top of my head. I have also often seen groups of girls giving verbal abuse to other people knowing full well that nothing can be done about it where if it’s lad giving abuse, there is a higher risk that they can get their asses kicked whereas a girl knows that won’t happen to her.
Great job by the Guards! All we need now is for the Irish judiciary system to do its job…… properly!

I can only speak so to speak for drumcondra where I live…And santry Garda station which is supposed to patrol the part of drumcondra where I live..Is that they don’t.never see them…..And when you phone station if your lucky to get through…Your issue is never dealt with……You get the same old storey…We have no patrol car available….If there is a worse station in Dublin…I would doubt it

The attacker wasn’t arrested at the scene. The attack happened Tue 6pm the person was arrested 10pm last night.
