‘They told me it was heroin… I went home and smoked it. Then the lads were saying to stick a needle in my arm, so I did.’
Ah well, count your blessings, you might have found an explosive belt that day and the lads would have told you to head off to Fallujah.

Injection centres yes but not in underpriviledged areas or in fact not in any residential areas. City centre where it wont interfere with normal everyday people who havent fked up their lives and dont want to be surrounded by the walking dead set.

You wont find industrial estates in D4 ;) At least in city centres the problem is shared by everyone. This wont happen though and “medical centres” in rundown areas will get the nod despite this poison effecting all walks of life. If one is planned near my family there will be a blockade. Noone should have to look out their window and see zombies off their head and dealers picking new kids off one by one.

Jonny, self inflicted. There are far too many out there in desperate need of services through no fault of their own. They should be priority. Someone who sticks a needle in their own arm doesn’t come in under ‘through no fault of their own’. They are willingly throwing away a life with potential. Even those coming from the worst background can pull themselves up. Broken homes and poor education are not an excuse. In this day and age even a 15 year old knows what heroin does to a person.

Having a poor diet is not even vaguely the same a sticking needles in your arm. Who intentionally exposes themselves to asbestos knowing how dangerous it is? Heroin is not the same as alcohol or smoking. Alcohol carries risk but most people go through life without having their lives destroyed by indulging. Any idiot knows what happens if you start shooting up heroin. As for smokers, I believe insurance is loaded for those who smoke. And for those with no insurance, they pay tax on every packet anyway, essentially paying at least something toward the cost of treatment should the worst happen. You don’t see many people mugging some unfortunate on the street because they can’t afford their next hit of John Player Blue.

The point about safe injection centers is they stave off some of the other problems caused by intravenous drug use and that in turn saves the state money and saved the non-drug using public from being exposed to the dangers which doing it on the street cause.

The problem is not the drink, drugs, its people, and how people accept each other,

Back in day all the guys would head to the pub after work and drive home, it was acceptably. Now people would look down at you.

In every day circles drugs is not acceptably, but sweets, caffeine is, when we all at work some will nibble sweets drink coffee together, drinking red-bull etc… these are all forms of addiction some can eat and drink in moderation others cant.

But in this circle some may take drugs when off work but cause the circle is usually from the same kind of back ground it rarely takes controlled and their back to work with no issues.

The problem is when someone comes from a troubled back ground or gets involved with people who just don’t care or with people who have a troubled background and in this circle its ok to become completely wasted, it in these circles it becomes a problem , when we really look pass this the problem is people,

This why drug problems will never end , some people are just wasters and will drag others down, and people who
have suffer will not all ways get the help they want and if the do that help some times this can abuse to. Which all ways lead to the strongest mind blockers been used.

    Like in that movie boost.
