These chocolate Santas are being recalled because they may have plastic in them

It applies to the 200g size of the chocolate Santa.

CHOCOLATE SANTAS MADE by Thorntons are being recalled.

The recall of the products comes amid fears there may be plastic pieces in some units. The recall affects all batches and best before dates of the products, which originated in the UK.

It applies to the 200g size of the chocolate Santa. The Food Safety Authority of Ireland says that recall notices will be displayed in stores that were supplied with the implicated product.

A company statement says:

“Consumers who have purchased any of the affected products are advised not to consume them but instead to return them for an alternative product or full refund to any Thorntons store.”

Hah, as if chocolate would last that long in your average house.

Chocolate and sweets tend to just evaporate the minute they cross the threshold into our house

If there’s even one chocolate santa left uneaten they should get a lifetime supply for sheer willpower, maybe from a different company though…

If you have the packaging left and maybe melt some leftover coffee and turkish delight chocs on the bottom, does that count?
