If anyone thinks he lives in Switzerland in order to avoid paying tax in Ireland, they are wrong. He lives in Switzerland because of the lifestyle there.

@Doire: And so do I. I don’t have a problem with JP, very generous guy by all accounts. I just find it amusing that Den is, and I guess, creaming himself at the very mention of the Great Man.

Great news. Adare is a most stunningly beautiful village (bottleneck) and it will be great to show the world. Price of a pint will go through the roof though.

@Jem Mehmet: Was at the K club with my late Dad we saw loads just wandering …aside from some cracking golf, Michael Jordan and Bill Clinton stopped beside us while we were following Padraig, the fecking glower of Woods as he walked off from his match, and we ended up standing right in front of Boris Becker at the 18th hole in the final day for McGinley. Loved it.

Great news in fairness, only issue for me is that since the revamp the course has gone so expensive I can only presume after Ryder Cup it will increase again. I loved the original layout, couldn’t justify nee green fee. All the same best wishes JP , Top man
