THE RECOVERY OF bodies of five family members who died in a helicopter crash in Wales while en route to Dublin is set to continue this morning.
The bodies of the five family members were identified with the wreckage of the downed helicopter yesterday.
Police said the crash site was located in the Rhinog mountains area of North Wales.
Two of the victims were yesterday named locally as Kevin and Ruth Burke from Hulcote, near Milton Keynes.
Ruth Burke is originally from Dublin and it is reported that the downed helicopter was crossing the Irish Sea en route to Dublin when the crash occurred.
The BBC reports that Kevin Burke is believed to have been from Manchester and was a qualified pilot who is believed to have owned the helicopter.
It is reported that the family were en route to Dublin from London for a christening.
Rescue efforts had got underway Wednesday after radio contact was lost with the privately-owned helicopter. It had set off from Milton Keynes in England to travel to Dublin via Caernarfon Bay in Wales.
The aerial search was hampered by poor visibility, and the search turned inland yesterday morning in the Snowdonia region of north-west Wales.

Anyone know why some rainbows appear flattened? Is it to do with the shape of the raindrops?

First I thought u were talking about the big UFO shaped cloud on the left but then saw the 3 shapes, is it just a blurry pic?
Yes, it really is magical. So magical that even though it was taken on May 23, 2015 (the day the result of Ireland’s Marriage Equality Referendum was announced), not only did it travel all round the world to places as far away as America, where it was seen as proof that Nature and/or ‘god’ approved of the result (see here at http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/05/23/1387196/-Best-photo-on-the-Internets-today ), but it somehow also got magically teleported by Time Machine all the way back to The Journal in October 2013. Strange and mysterious indeed are the ways of The Great Joker in the Sky :)
