Man whose body was found on Bray beach in March finally identified

A family member came forward and the man was identified using DNA testing.

GARDAÍ IN BRAY have thanked the public and media for their assistance, after the body of a man who was found in March was finally identified.

The man’s body was found on Bray beach on 27 March. In April, gardaí made an appeal for information as they were unable to identify him.

Due to the publicity surrounding the case a family member of the man came forward, gardaí said in a statement.

The man was successfully identified following DNA testing on him and this family member.

He had been found wearing a green and brown camouflage jacket, blue jeans and black runner boots. A pair of glasses and a brown and green rucksack was also found.

How come you have no story today about all the online transactions that AIB / BOI are not authorising because of an unprecedented amount of online fraud.

It would be great to have a proper broadband infrastructure nationwide, which would help build business around the country and not just focus all our infrastructure on dublin

Great idea to be honest. I won’t knock a good idea for the sake of it. But the tag they chose, #retailroundtable ? 17 of the allowable 140 characters allowed in a tweet. Could they not have chosen something shorter and snappier?

Even #RetailRT would do. With the added connotations that “RT” might inspire.

I think the journal should ask for suggestions for a hash tag. Collect the 10 most popular and have a poll in the morning. Announce a winner an hour before the webcast starts. If they decide to use the journal readers favourite, we’ll know they have some understanding of the technology their using. If the persist with the other mouthful, well, not very nimble or agile is it
