LONDON POLICE HAVE named the third man suspected of being involved in the terror attacks over the weekend as 22-year-old Youssef Zaghba who was from east London.
Zaghba is believed to be an Italian national of Moroccan descent and police said that he was not a police or MI5 subject of interest.
All three men involved in the attack were confronted and shot dead by armed officers within eight minutes of the first call.
The other two were named yesterday as Khuram Shazad Butt and Rachid Redouane, who had spent time living in the Rathmines area of south Dublin.
A statement from the Met Police read: “Detectives would like to hear from anyone who has any information about these men that may assist them with the investigation. They are particularly keen to hear about places they may have frequented and their movements in the days and hours before the attacks.
Detectives have also arrested a man at an address in Barking this morning, Tuesday, 6 June. , a 27-year-old man, was arrested under the Terrorism Act at approximately 08.05hrs today.

It’s actually a disgrace, and a massive failure of our society, that the guy shown on the Channel 4 documentary with an ISIS flag was not immediately locked up. Detention centres and laws criminalising support for ISIS and extreme Islamic ideology is what’s needed.

According to minister for justice there is a small number of Jahadis on Gardai watch list….Less than 50…Some have fought for IS in Syria……If any of thoes gentlemen don’t have Irish or EU passports then please deport then to their home country…..Even if the minister has to go to supreme court to get permission it is worth it….
@John003: anyone who has left here and joined Daesh should be executed if they return, this is a war and military justice is required. The ECHR needs urgent amendment, removing the blanket ban on execution and removing all protection for religion. It should be redrafted to entitle everyone to live free from religion.

I have read that Rachid Redouane, the terrorist who lived in Rathmines, has two identities,two different dates of birth and two countries where he claims to have been born, he tried to claim status in England but when refused, he moved to Ireland where he lived for approximately eighteen months and married and obtained Irish papers before moving back to the UK, we were used as a convenience to give him legitimacy, it is worrying how this man could so easily use and abuse our asylum/refugee process, it is not racism to want thoroughly vetted and recorded information on all applicants who seek asylum/refugee status here and in the event they are suspect,or unwilling to provide papers/passports/documents or proof of identity including how they travelled to Ireland, or any information requested, then we should have the right to deport them immediately , it should also be noted that two thirds of the ‘migrant children’ who claimed asylum in Sweden were actually adults, yet we are being told to accept ‘child refugees’ by Minister Zappone, time we wised up and put proper procedures in place. 75% of ‘suspicious’ child migrants in Sweden are adults | Daily Mail …

Surely it makes common sense to deport or inter any of those that have been found to engage in IS/terrorist training or show fundamentalist view. Yes the DoGooders will have some reason why you can’t do this in case you hurt someone’s feelings. If the intelligence already exists then why wait for these terrorists to act just so you don’t upset people. And I’m not on about deporting innocent Muslims or building a wall or any of that crap. I’m specifically on about those people with which there is credible intelligence or information about.

How can one of the attackers be refused asylum in the U.K. and still be able to get into Ireland to live and work.
Marry a U.K. citizen here which allows him back into UK. If he was refused asylum in UK he should not have been allowed in here
The problem is money there is thousands of known ones , it would cost to much to lock them up if they say they shared their laptop phone etc… That be grounds not to lock them up. We may need very carefully to recalibrate our laws and law enforcement more effectively to address incipient terrorist activity and preparatory actions but being careful not to alienate or antagonize moderate Muslims who are society’s potentially most valuable ally in the defence against terrorism.
In addition we need not unravel those protections of rights, civil liberties and not create an excessive reaction, the over reaction that ISIS and the different strands of Jihadist want to achieve.
We should not play into the hands of the enemy poor encourage the promotion of radicalisation by excessively oppressive or disproportionate measures.
It is about balance, sense, rationality and avoiding excessive emotionalism.
Why give these fools recognition .
