A MAN HAS been rushed to hospital after being rescued from a building fire in Ballybough.
Dublin Fire Brigade units rescued the man from the blaze in a building on Sackville Avenue, just off the Ballybough Road on the outskirts of Dublin city centre.
Three DFB fire engines responded to the blaze from North Strand and Phibsboro fire stations, as well as an ambulance.
The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance with smoke inhalation.
It was initially thought that there were two victims of the blaze, but when emergency services arrived they found just one man in need of medical assistance.
The fire has since been brought under control by DFB units.

Only 3 billion made in as many months. May as well shut up shop. Wouldn’t get much for that. You could change the title of this to “Massive company makes as much in profits as the entire country of Ireland loses in 3 months”. Can I write for the Journal?
Their profits are down 48% in a year. That’s not something positive to celebrate..
For Samsung shareholders, for others it’s great news.
Had an s4 galaxy but changed to HTC one m8 recently .. fantastic phone compared to the Samsung .. they do make good smart tbs though ..
Have an M8 as well and it sure is a great phone. Upgraded from a s3 which was a great phone but after 2years it looked like it was dropped from the top of the spire.
Samsung’s build quality can be poor. But the screen was great and phone worked well.
I went from the S3 to S5 and I had the same experience of the S3 – by the end, the back of the phone was covered in marks, but the phone still worked perfectly and the screen is immaculate.
I’ve upgraded to the S5 because they’ve improved the build quality, made it water proof and by the 5th generation of a phone, you tend to find very little goes wrong.
I also snapped up the Samsung Gear Fit watch to go with it for 100… Didn’t know if it would be much use, turns out, they’re an excellent addition to the phone. Samsung all the way, happily.
Get product made in China, make a boat load of profit from cheap labour cost, give Chinese complete design of product, pretend the Chinese give a shit about copyright.
