So so sad a mother and a family devistated by this no doubt , the loss of a child is unthinkable, two lives destroyed, i actually passed just as the accident happened and believed me it’s not something I’d like to see again absolutely shocking but yes he was speeding by all accounts down the bus lane in rush hr traffic ,a young mother pushing a buggy at the traffic lights literally escaped with her life and that of her baby … Such a terrible tragedy

@Karen Finglas O Toole: 18 year old on an “allegedly” stolen motorcycle. Tragic loss of life none the less. My thoughts are with his family as his were not.

@Jamie McCormack: I couldn’t agree more. Glad to see the senseless comments removed. People making comments about nothing to do with the accident, making judgements and coming to their own conclusions on a tragic accident that is still under investigation.
    RIP young man.

@Paul G: sad loss of life but so easily avoided. The simple fact is that the lads on this bike and another who drove away from the scene before the Gardai arrived and as total strangers rushed to help the victims had been racing up and down the Priorswood road all day and it seems they had continued to race. Such a horrible tragedy could have been avoided by some common sence. R.I.P young man
