Train delays on northern line as emergency services attend incident

Customers are being told that Dublin Bus are accepting rail tickets.

EMERGENCY SERVICES ARE attending an incident on the line at Skerries train station.

It is understood that a person was hit by a train. The incident is being treated as a tragedy.

Skerries train station is now closed and there are train disruptions to the northern commuter and Belfast trains, with services suspended between Drogheda and Malahide until further notice.

Iarnród Eireann has advised that customers make alternative arrangements as delays to services are expected to last for much of the morning.

Customers are being told that Dublin Bus are accepting rail tickets.

    The best result, for me, would be a break-up on its trajectory towards the Sun as we would get much more data that way. A survive & pass around the Sun would yield much less for spectroscopy.
