Man (20s) hospitalised after stabbing in Kinnegad

The incident occurred yesterday morning.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING an incident where a man in his 20s was stabbed in Co Westmeath.

The incident occurred at Heathfield, Kinnegad at around 11am yesterday. The man was brought to Tallaght Hospital, where his condition is described as stable.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.

Investigating gardaí have asked that witnesses contact Kinnegad Garda Station on 044 937 5112, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

Imagine why would someone carry a deadly knife out to town? Expect the trouble? He/she should expect if stabbing and caught, they shouldn’t be given a bail till they go to prison for a long time……
