GARDAÍ IN MAYO have arrested two men in connection with the death of a man in Swinford in August.
Joseph Deacy of St Albans in England was discovered outside a house at Gortnasillagh, Swinford on Saturday 12 August 2017.
The 21-year-old was taken to hospital after gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene by a passer-by at around 6am.
He was brought to Mayo University Hospital by ambulance but he was later removed to Beaumont Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Sunday evening.
A post-mortem showed that he had suffered head injuries. Gardaí determined that it was a case of homicide.
Two men aged in their 20s were arrested this morning in connection with Deacy’s death.
They are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at garda stations in Mayo.
They can be detained for up to 24 hours.

One of the main differences between the Israeli barbarism and that in the Congo etc. is that nobody comes on here and defends the Congolese perpetrators, like you do with the Israeli government and IDF.

@honey badger: Ah look at our residents Zonest Shrill. Funny how you don’t have any issue with Thomas ignoring all the other conflicts you mentioned in your comment. Why is it ok for him to just mention Ukraine and ignore the rest but you get butt hurt when I mention the Palestinians? Also where have I “deflected” from Putin’s invasion? It’s a brutal invasion that must stop. Just like Israel’s brutal invasion of Gaza must stop, something you’re not interested in.
