The Yaris driver had two paper bags over their head from the shame of driving it.

Insured drivers or not, will you please have your headlights checked. Sick and tired of what I call ** 1 eyed reillys** blinding me., One dull headlight and the other one blaring, OR just one headlight. L drivers on their own on motorways?? L drivers around town I live in consistently driving around on their own. Must be one law for the non nationals, and one for the, indigenous, who, get pulled and probably charged whereas the others???

@Liam Kielthy: learners aren’t allowed on motorways even with a full driver with them

@Jamíe Costello: Absolutly stupid for learners accompanied by qualified drivers not allowed on motorways. There are many dual carriageway that are similar to motorways Dual carriageway have more obstacles like pedestrians, cyclists, pedestrian crossings traffic lights, left and right turns etc etc so what’s the problem?

@Liam Kielthy: I drive a lot for work and my experience is that it’s mostly qualified drivers that are hazards on the road. People can’t negotiate roundabouts , wrong lanes, no indicators. They drive at stupidly slow speeds and they don’t realise that they have mirrors. The amount of dopey idiots on the road is ridiculous. You’ve got slow drivers in small cars and d*ckheads in big cars all putting everyone else at risk.

@Brendan Hughes: Toyota changed the name on the hatch back Corrolla to Auris in recent years, do a Google search on it before you comment!! The car your thinking of has a completely different name, I’ll let you find it while you google Auris…

Not surprised it’s coming to this. Irish drivers just couldn’t give a f*ck these days. It’s dog eat dog out there.

@mcgoo: as a recently qualified driver I couldn’t agree more. The disrespect people have on the road is ridiculous! When I have my L plates up people over take on solid lines, back roads, whatever, you name it. Compare this to when the other half is driving (full licence) and people don’t do half that stuff. Oh and use the damn indicator folks!!

@Brian Mc Cabe: Anymore than one lane coming into a roundabout with two lanes going around it, is extremely complicated for some. It’s very difficult to spend 12 whole hours learning how to observe, signal and maneuver to the correct lane. The EDT course is too difficult!! Sarcaim aside, when you actually do follow the correct procedure to drive safely around roundabouts, you get lights flashed and horns blared at you, from drivers in the wrong lane!
