People with dementia who go wandering may show up in an area or address where they previously lived so it could help locate her. Also if you find someone wandering around and confused and you realise they have dementia or have been told to look out for them and know this again it could help reunite them. Anything that helps is good. Luckily this lady was found safe and sound

@Elizabeth Sheehan O’Reilly: there was no mention that the lady has dementia not sure why you would include your explanation for a missing persons update ?

@John Judd:I doubt she’s been out all night for 10 days in that weather so I’d say she was at least able to book herself in somewhere.Probably just went on a holiday for herself.

@Peadar Ó Gréacháin: probably nothing, he was just curious. Or maybe if somone confirmed she has dementia it would help something he thought he seen? Either way he was only asking a question, no need to jump down his throat

Statistical analysis of data on missing persons behavioural patterns from decades of reports forms a category specific to dementia sufferers. This is the starting point for search mangers so, it has lots to do with it.
