More great work by the Gardai that will be wasted by the judge that guy stands in front of and gives him a light sentence because of his tough life.

@Clever Jake: One simple question for you. Is the Possession of, Use of, Supply or Sale of, prescribed drugs as stated in the Misuse of Drugs Act an offence under said act? Yes or No.

@Clever Jake: So we are agreed that being an offence under the Misuse of Drugs Act that it is a breach of Criminal Law. And by anyone’s definition a breach of Criminal Law is a Criminal Offence, ergo a Crime. Now your opinion of that particular law is basicly irrelevant as it doesn’t change the fact that if you are found breaching said law you will find yourself being prosecuted by the state and if found guilty of said criminal offence, being punished by the state. And as for your Question to me. The answer is Yes, very much so. As said laws have been passed by our democratically elected officials and have been tested in the Courts. Now if you feel aggrieved by any of our domestic criminal laws you have the option of seeking re-dress in the ECJ.
