Of all the public services the health service seems to be the one that seems to be suffering most in the crash. Sad we can’t seem to put value on the most important thing in life – health. Only when it’s gone is it missed.

This is my way of protesting and chase the sc..um in Fianna Fáil and the cartel of Fine Gael and Labour. Their biggest fear is Sinn Fein, hence my support! :-)

There’s a higher risk to patients because of incompetent doctors.

I have just been diagnosed with bilateral thoracic outlet syndrome after being told for the last two years that my pain was “all in my head” despite the fact that the physical evidence was plain for all to see.

12 times doctors tried to put me on anti depressants, one sided articles like this make me sick.

Politics aside, there is a problem here. The system in place to monitor and provide for the health of the people is not working. The old are fearful, the handicapped and disabled are slowly being abandoned, those with cancers etc are wondering will they get the care they need. Is the problem just money? Or the management of it? We have lots of promises to improve things, we have very able people in our doctors and nurses willing and being forced to work very hard. The HSE is very well intentioned but it is not working or is it being set up to fail? The Department of Health funds the HSE but is not giving it enough. Tasking the HSE to do its job is like being asked to make a Christmas cake, yet only having the ingredients to make a sponge cake.

Damien in case you have forgotten, there was a problem with the HSE when Fianna Fáil were running this country into the gutter, Billy Kelleher was aware of this. The problem now is, the criminals in Fianna Fáil are now telling us about the problems with the HSE knowing it was they who have handed those problems over to the other bunch of misfits. Therefore Billy Kelleher and his cronies are now exploiting the problems within the HSE for electoral gains, problems they were privy too. In which brings home to us the citizen, that we never rid ourselves of our problem which is Fianna Fáil, we destroyed the weed but left the root to sprout again!

You of course have your own theory, but Billy was re-elected as an FF candidate. Those who voted for him did so despite his FF membership. You won’t agree, but I consider him to be one of the best TDs in the Dail.
Like yourself, I am not a member of any party. Unlike yourself, I do not seek to attack those who represent their constituents well.
Although you are not a party member, the manner in which you support SF in my opinion, rather detracts from that party. If you have something to share, please do so, constructively.
