AN 18-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in relation to the death of Cameron Reilly.
Cameron was found dead in a field at Shamrock Hill, Dunleer on Saturday 26 May. A post-mortem concluded that the 18-year-old died in “violent circumstances”.
A teenager was arrested in Dunleer this morning.
He’s being questioned at Drogheda Garda Station where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.

I hope the Gardai are closer to charging someone. This investigation went very quiet so hopefully that means they’ve pieced the puzzle together and now have the evidence to get justice.
As this is an ongoing investigation I think disabling comments on this article might be best. As great as it is that progress seem to be happening there just might be a chance of a few things being said that hinders this progress. Just a suggestion

@The IMF are here: I presume that is because there is still such venomous comments being written about a person found not guilty. For several weeks after the trial ended the hashtag was still about rape trial

Why, oh why can you not refer to the boy by his first name in this- and other sad tragedies. He is Cameron.
Horrendous crime – hopefully proper justice is served.
Why refer to the victim as a boy or teenager and the person bein questioned a man, when they are both the same age.
@Chris Kirk: The boy murdered was 13. The man who killed him was 18.
@Escay: not he wasn’t. Cameron Reilly was 18 when he was murdered.
