GARDAÍ AND THE HEALTH and Safety Authority are investigating after a man died in farming accident in Mayo.
Shortly before 10am this morning, gardaí were called to a farming accident at Clogher, Claremorris Co Mayo.
A man in his 50s was fatally injured in the incident.
It is understood that the man may have fallen under a trailer while collecting bales when the accident occurred.
The incident has been reported to the HSA, who are carrying out their own investigation.
The coroner has also been notified.

The average time spent behind bars for murder in Ireland is 22 years. Pistorius was sentenced to less than 14. What exactly could we learn from them?
