Looked awful. Car fully mounted and hit pole at pedestrian crossing. 10 minutes later and 100 plus kids are crossing that road. People need to slow down ffs

@Irish Political GIF: They must have been going at some speed to end up with the traffic lights half way through the engine. The other car was a people carrier that had probably just dropped kids off.

It’s hard to know what happened but that crossroads turning right from Booterstown Avenue with traffic turning left from the Dart is never straight forward. Rules of the road issue, people done know how to pass each other properly.

The Rock Road is an absolute disgrace in the morning. No calming measuers whatsoever. Whats worse is the amount of kids ferried to schools each day taking up space on roads during rush hour

With the road being so so so jammed with cars, I would have a guess and say the car tried to hit the oedal to the metal to beat the traffic lights and lost control
