Shoppers evacuated from Dublin's IKEA

IKEA said a “technical issue” caused management to evacuate Sunday afternoon shoppers from the store in Ballymun today.

HUNDREDS OF SHOPPERS were evacuated from Dublin’s IKEA shopping centre this afternoon following a “technical issue”, a spokesperson for the store has said.

The spokesperson told TheJournal.ie that the evacuation was standard procedure following the report of a technical issue, and that shoppers had been allowed to return 15 minutes after the evacuation.

The Defence Forces confirmed that no requests for its assistance had been made.

    Getting the dog groomed will make a huge difference to their comfort. They’ll bake if coat is not cut/shaved back.

    @Niallers: depend on the breed!

    Some dogs can’t regulate their body temperature if their double coat is cut or shaved. It’s actually really bad for them. Those big white fluffy Samoyeds need to stay fluffy!!!

    Do not shave or cut the fur of any double coated dog, it’s really dangerous they will over heat and get sun burn. Their double coat helps keep them cool!

    Unfortunately you’ll still get idiots walking their dogs in the sun and leaving them in cars. Some people just won’t listen
