A BATCH OF Brady Family ham could be unsafe for those allergic to or intolerant of mustard, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland has warned.
Mustard was undeclared on the label of a batch of Brady Family “Glazed by Hand” Irish ham.
The batch number of the 90g packets is 4696J2 with a use-by date of 27 October 2018.
The batch of ham was sold at the following stores: Londis, Eurospar, XL, Spar and Mace.

Be interesting to know how many centuries glazed ham has been on sale and how many tragedies are attributed to it. Again we are taking of less than a trace element in the glaze.. Naturally we are going to find more head banging stuff since the Food Agencies have a new legislative toy.
@Martin Critten: mustard is a major allergen that can lead to anaphylaxis. It’s quite rare here but more common on mainland Europe.

@Martin Critten: the European commission are 9n the verge of legislating for a legal limit on free glutamic acid in a product. When the public got spooked about MSG the manufacturers stopped using it only they didn’t really they just moved from a “synthetic” form to a “natural” alternative. So MSG morphed into Yeast Extract which has become “Natural Flavouring”. Meanwood inflammatory based illnesses increase in prevalence and put enormous pressure on our public & private health systems.

Brady’s ham is laced with the MSG equivalent Yeast Extract. That’s why it tastes so nice. It is adulterated to make it taste nicer to make it sell more. It is cheating on flavour. Irritable Bowel Syndrome in a sandwich.
