    Well done Journal.ie

    I hope she’s found safe and sound.

    Social media companies should be in on the act too.

    It is surely one of the worst feelings in the world when a loved one goes missing.

    I hope this girl is found soon.

    If this is a genuine missing person.

    As I presume it is

    Facebook should gladly give up its most prominent add space for her.

    As should all other platforms that track data to the point where they know to advertise you’re local restaurant to you or the crazy diet you’ve been researching lately.

    Point is.

    She will hopefully turn up tomorrow and it will hopefully go down as a false alarm.

    Fb in particular have the ability to pin point lots of the world and it makes me sick when I see that someone is MISSING and fb are advertising a new razor!

    @Linus Robin: Go on Facebook and advertise that she is missing. Facebook won’t do it for free.

    @Rob Fitz:
    That simply has zero pulling power vs what could simply be done by a social media platform.
    Trust me.

    I did it once in the early nineties because my Dad refused me to go out with a certain boy, I stayed with his parents for two days. Storm in a teacup.

    She could be a run away kid trying to escape difficult circumstances in her life. Most runaway teens turn home in a couple of days.
