BANK OF IRELAND ATMs, online banking and mobile app are working again after customers experienced issues earlier today.
It was reported this afternoon that BOI ATMs and some online services were not working and customers were not able to access their cash online.
The bank has now confirmed that their services including ATMs, the mobile app, 365online banking and the Business Online service are functioning again following “issues” today.
“We also extended the opening hours at some of our branches until 8pm this evening,” a statement from the bank said.
“We again apologise for the disruption this has caused our customers.”

Misinformation by BOI.. Business payments including payroll files could not be uploaded all day. When service was restored payment date defaulted to Dec 2nd despite Helpdesk stating otherwise. Seems like BOI PR machine was out spoofing in the Media. Many people will not be paid tomorrow.
@SandraMeyler: Had they enough money in the banks, as plenty of people are spending their money for Christmas now? Did they run out of money is my question???
@TamuMassif2019: Banks don’t need money anymore to loan out. That’s what caused the crash before. They just move bits of paper around now. Capitalism at its finest.

365 is NOT BACK WORKING, and when you telephone, there is a voice message telling you that it is not working……. so why are BOI putting out all these updates, that the issue has been rectified…..IT HAS NOT, very frustrating!

Just an exercise incase there was ever a run on the banks. Just joking but it makes you wonder if they were hacked?
